We aim to deliver industry best practice and continually improve in the management of safety consistently applied across our company.

Working closely with our clients Bourne Track ensures all our teams onsite understand the importance of protecting the environment at all costs and if any issues or concerns are highlighted by our teams then these will be reported to our clients with immediate effect so the issue in question can be contained and dealt with in the appropriate manor.

Bourne Track recognises the zero Tolerance stance that is taken within the Network Rail Industry and take these matters very seriously. Our staff are all briefed at induction stage of Joining Bourne Track and fully understand the severity of being under any influence whilst leaving their house and coming to work. Working closely with our clients we monitor and welcome onsite testing that may be required. As part of our process Bourne Track also undertake Unannounced testing to our teams onsite. Any non-conformities with such tests will immediately bring a dismissal into place and a report to NWR so that the candidates competencies can be suspended on Sentinel whilst investigations are dealt with. We also promote this to our guys as part of their everyday life and health trying to get them to take on board the risks involved with Alcohol and drug usage.

Taking its staff's health and safety into consideration, Bourne Track recognises the importance of working hours and the risks involved with excessive hours. Working closely with our clients we closely monitor our staff's hours daily, ensuring that they do not work excessive hours. Our teams onsite also understand how important it is to work within their hours each day and are also encouraged to raise any concerns they may have to Bourne Track Management. Should their concerns be warranted, we then sit with our client to once again work together to ensure any risks to our guys are eliminated. We and our teams understand fully how fatigue can play a huge factor in accidents at work or to and from work and this is why we encourage our teams to remain vigilant at all times and raise any concerns they have.
